Ebony Cowan Murdoch University Kings Park how resilient are our #banksiawoodland #restoration sites to 🔥? See her new open access paper onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/re… #TheBioCon #generationrestoration

Awesome to be able to present findings (in person!) on changing soil seedbank dynamics following a smoke treatment in a restoration consequence! Cheers Rachel Standish @_bpmiller Joe Fontaine Murdoch University #TheBioCon #banksiawoodland #restoration

Congrats to our HDR scholarship winners Ebony Cowan, Liz Wall & Jake Eckersley. We and are partners are thrilled to have you join the team & excited to follow your respective research areas: lnkd.in/gGeqkg9A Murdoch University UWA Rio Tinto BHP Fortescue Biodiversity and Conservation Science

Meet Ebony, a PhD candidate at Murdoch University and #KingsParkScience. Ebony’s PhD research explores ecological resilience in restored Banksia woodland ecosystems, to understand how well an ecosystem can ‘bounce back’ after a disturbance, such as fire 🍃

What a great start to #ESASCBO2022 yesterday 🥳 Ebony Cowan and Nate Anderson kicking it off with amazing talks about fire and plants 🌱🔥

#Banksiawoodlands following sand #mining have such a diverse soil seedbank, which can help promote future #resilience to fire. So fun to use smoke to stimulate germination! Rachel Standish Joe Fontaine @_bpmiller Murdoch University Research #KingsParkScience CRC TiME @Hanson_au
