SO much to love about this book, and so much to learn from it. Soaring20sPB Patricia Newman 🌍 empowering children to act pulls the reader into a fascinating world of elephant communication. I found myself really relating to the elephants... feeling joy at their reunions, and grief over their losses.❤️

A masterfully-woven tale of hilarity, hijinks + heart! Written by Charlotte Offsay, the cumulative structure builds laughter + suspense, while the ending emphasizes the satisfaction of compromise and community. A perfect read-aloud, w/adorable illustrations by Soaring20sPB Abi Cushman🐭

This biography is a literary work of art. I especially love Soaring20sPB Angela Kunkel's descriptions of color as metaphors for Barbara Cooney's refusal to live or create in a black-and white world. Becca Stadtlander's illustrations are stunning. A really special book.

Such a treat to share our upcoming book, Pine Cone Regrown, on World Read Aloud Day! Kevin Howdeshell Sleeping Bear Press

What an impactful book with a bold, inspirational voice. 3 sisters who migrated from Puerto Rico to the Bronx show us the power of perseverance to create meaningful change, by holding people and institutions accountable for discrimination. Soaring20sPB

Thank you so much to the Jewish Book Council (Jewish Book Council) for the chance to chat about Holocaust education, the importance of hope, and finding that tender spot where respect for the story meets respect for the reader.❤️
