"If this clinic didn’t exist, I don’t know what we would do.” 🏥 In a village near the front line in Kharkiv, this modular clinic is more than a building - it’s a lifeline. Thanks to EU EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid 🇪🇺 and WHO Ukraine, 4,000 people now have access to healthcare close to home.

'Getting by is very difficult. Everything is expensive, and we have a new baby,' Aisha says, a Syrian mother of three in Türkiye. Thanks to the EU 🇪🇺, GOAL Global provides her with a newborn kit, including essentials like diapers & clothing. The kit has been a lifeline for them.


🏚️ Imagine facing storms with no roof over your head. That was the reality for dozens of families in Apostolivska community 🇺🇦. Now? “It’s warm, cosy and safe,” says Olena, one of 73 families who got new roofs and windows thanks to EU support and Danish Refugee Council in Ukraine.



At just 3, Matvii survived war, occupation and months in a cold basement in Kharkiv 🇺🇦. Trauma stole his words and his smile. Today, it is #WorldRefugeeDay! Since the beginning of the Syrian crisis, the EU EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid 🇪🇺 has provided humanitarian funding to Türkiye to support more than 2 million refugees in building a new life. With our partners, we will continue to deliver the most needed services to them.

When war took everything from Iryna, she chose not to give up, but to give back. Displaced by war herself, Iryna now helps others rebuild what they’ve lost. Through a project run by CARE (care.org) with support from the EU, she brings hope, protection, and dignity to those most affected.



Ahmad’s daughter Haneen lost sight in one eye, and she needs surgery in another province in Türkiye. However they don't have enough resources for travel. Thanks to EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid 🇪🇺, Danish Refugee Council in Türkiye secures travel permit and transportation. This intervention makes life-changing care possible.

Every day, Anastasia - a 41-year-old refugee from Ukraine - serves lunch to others who, like her, had to flee everything. In a Refugee Accommodation Centre in Chișinău, a warm meal 🍲means more than food. Thanks to EU support and World Food Programme, it’s a moment of care, dignity, and hope.
