Our inaugural DC Economics Alumni networking event was well attended last night - this chapter is officially launched! We also networked with some Economics Alumni-to-be as our DC campus Economic Policy class students celebrated the end of their Maymester in the same restaurant!

We're super proud that yesterday's international conference in Kampala was co-organized by Associate Professor Vittorio Bassi and International Growth Centre : "Making Growth in Uganda Sustainable: Insights from Frontier Research" and attended by Vittorio and several of our PhD students!

Congrats to undergraduate student Minnie Zhang who was one of four finalists in this year's Undergraduate Student Research Program of the Western Economics Association International (WEAI)! Minnie and the other finalists presented their papers at the 100th Annual WEAI Conference!
