Yesterday Mete Coban MBE joined Cllr Clyde Loakes in Waltham Forest Council to see how the borough is cutting flood risk with sustainable drainage like these rain gardens. They don’t just tackle flooding—they boost biodiversity and look fantastic too!

Decades of stagnation from the ineptitude of more Governments than you can count on your fingers is being blamed on bats and newts , again . We cannot allow this new bill to wreak havoc on environmental protections . Top work Craig Bennett The Wildlife Trusts for taking a stand .

Well, just back from a few days in Cumbria… And definitely worth a visit to the superb Gait Barrows and Arnside Knott and of course, Leighton Moss. But was really good to get the moth trap back on when I got home last night. Eyed-Hawkmoth always great to see!

In 1970 the UK and Norway were roughly equal, almost no debt, and owned all their Public Services. Now the UK owns nothing and has £3tn of debt. While Norway still owns everything and has the equivilant of £10tn. That's how privatisation 'works'.
