#Cholera remains a major public health threat in Africa, with over 213,500 suspected cases and over 4,400 deaths just in 2025. To tackle this threat, I joined President Hakainde Hichilema and Dr Jean Kaseya in launching the continental preparedness and response plan against cholera,

A new #Ebola outbreak is confirmed in the #DRC. Tragically, 15 deaths have been reported so far, including 4 health workers. World Health Organization (WHO) teams are already supporting the response, deploying experts and medical supplies needed to protect health workers and care for patients.
