"We used a light resisted sled acceleration run over 20m. The sled slowed down the whole running action, allowing for more CT symmetry compared to the A-skip. The player’s perception that “she was already running” kept her motivated and focused" Ed Mias sportsmith.co/articles/rehab…

"We identified two clear gaps in the literature: how to manage the start of the dynamic rehabilitation (drills > jog > run), and how to do it within an elite context under very tight constraints" Ed Mias sportsmith.co/articles/rehab…

Have been very impressed with Cathal Forde any time I've seen him the past year. Has a serious engine to go with the skills to play 10, 12 or 13. #CONvSHA #URC

⚡️Hamstring EMG during posterior chain exercises! 🔋 🧐Your rehabbing a player, who has progressed well , hit key markers (strength/volume/speed) and is preparing to return to play. But your EMG during various double and single leg hamstring exercises suggest low long head

Cool case & It happens more often than we think…. In fact some references would quote the hamstring re-injury rate between 5-60% depending on injury severity and location/tissue affected Sportsmith. Can we afford to go blind through the hamstring rehab? #kisoinmotion

👀Connecting your coaching eye to your clinical reasoning! Observe the leg cycle of the leg closest to the camera on each drill. Can you see small medium then big elliptical on the right limb and very limited ones on the left? What does limb movement and synergies say
