It’s the #Config2025 week! Doesn’t matter if we met before — if you recognize me in the crowd, please say hi! I love meeting new people and making friends.

I’m impressed. AI cut my design work from weeks to days. Recently, I had the chance to work on a cool dataviz project at Evil Martians as a product designer, and I leaned heavily on AI tools throughout. Here’s a breakdown of the design tasks where AI made a big difference.

Congrats to everyone at $FIG today! What a special day for the company and the design industry in general. Wild to think how much has changed in 9 years.

I’ve joined Arrows.to as Head of Design! Arrows creates collaborative spaces where teams close more deals and customers onboard faster. Excited to help shape design across the company and make our products even more delightful and easy to use!

Every great designer I’ve worked with could also be a top quartile engineer in the same company. No engineer I’ve worked with could be a designer in the same company.

I’ve been postponing upgrading software on Figmalion as it involves devops tasks I’m not too comfortable with. Last night I ssh’d into the server and asked Warp to come up with a plan, which it later executed perfectly. Blown away that Warp is now my “server guy”.

Regular border-radius curves start instantly, unlike in the real world. CSS now has corner-shape: squircle to control the shape (not only for that). Chrome only for now, but spec draft exists. frontendmasters.com/blog/understan…

Looking at these experiments made me think of the “tools don’t matter” narrative. You can’t explore all these ideas without strong technical skills, and at some point quantity and speed of iteration lead to quality.

The work on the new website was underway long before I joined Arrows, but I love the way it turned out and how it shows the product we’re building!
