“Leprosy changed my career, but not my hope.” After starting treatment, Billal lost his job due to stigma. Today, he’s driving an auto-rickshaw and holding onto hope. With support from Proyash, which strengthens local health centres, he’s one step closer to going back to work.

Canada is hosting the #G7 Summit June 15–17. As global leaders come together, Effect Hope joins the call alongside @CNNTD and partners worldwide to spotlight neglected tropical diseases — conditions that still affect millions living in poverty and stigma. #GlobalHealth

Men’s health is often overlooked - but diseases like leprosy don’t wait. Through ASPIRE, we’ve screened 1.2M+ people and diagnosed 1,624 leprosy cases—many in men who’d gone untreated for years. We’re breaking stigma with early care, dignity, and education. #MensHealth #Leprosy

#TBT: One year ago, we visited Liberia with the Ministry of Health to witness the impact of the TRANSFORM program. Remote communities face huge barriers to care - especially during rainy season. That’s why we support practical solutions like motorcycles for health workers. #NTD

It’s rainy season in Liberia 🌧️ A time when reaching remote communities becomes even harder. We’re supporting access to healthcare where it’s needed most—because no one should be left behind due to weather or distance. #Liberia #RainySeason #EffectHope #HealthEquity
