Belgium has a long and proud tradition of comic albums. As part of popular youth culture, they were long considered less important. Thanks to a donation by Eddy Kerssens, we have been able to add 4000 titles to our collection. A hightlight are the first issues of Robbedoes.

Two days ago, I witnessed the official deposit of the 12th-c "Berchem missal" by the St Willibrord church council Hendrik Conscience Heritage Library (shelfmark 898642).
