For the record - because several people have asked me abt this story - our dept has not had any meetings discussing internships. And Im happy to help our students find internships in Rep. Moulton's office and every Rep's office, regardless of their political views.

Just spoke with Prof Hersh, who reiterated his commitment to ideological diversity on campus. Hersh told me Moulton’s views don’t “make him out of bounds for our students to go learn from, or have an internship with or for him to come to campus.”

I second this. RCV politics are so odd. It's basically going after the part of voting that people find hardest - figuring out who to vote for - and making specifically that part harder. And the research is clear there is basically no upside to doing this.
