The Liberal Arts College Labor/Public Workshop is off to a great start! Mariyana Zapryanova of Smith College Economics presented work showing that high temperature days affect judicial decisions in India, with comments by Matthew Gibson @WilliamsEcon.

Despite the Zoom format, it was a great two days. I'm inspired by the terrific work being done by my colleagues in liberal arts college econ depts. My wonderful co-conspirator Esra Kose and I look forward to continuing to build this community with an in-person workshop next year.
