Did you know that if you create a transaction with 1 input and 1 P2A output, the transaction size becomes 64 bytes? This is non-standard due to a vulnerability in Bitcoin's Merkle tree. That's why we add an empty OP_RETURN output to solve this issue.

Garbled circuits are a great alternative to BitVM, they eliminate large disprove transactions and significantly reduce proof sizes. But off-chain costs were high, requiring ~50GB of data per deposit. We can solve this with small changes to current Clementine design, which needs

We’ve implemented Fq::mul in 1.5M gates. Verifying a Groth16 proof takes ~1400 Fq::muls, so a full Groth16 verifier would require around 2.1B gates without optimizations! This falls within feasible limits, so sooner than you think... Huge thanks to our BitVM team, they’ve become

Today we introduce Clementine V2, the next significant upgrade to our current BitVM2 based Clementine, coming after mainnet. Clementine V2 completely removes liquidity requirements, made possible by three key papers: 1. rubin.io/public/pdfs/de… by my Delbrag utilizes

Our BitVM team made a lot of contributions to BitVM2, just look at this thread! :) They have a deep understanding of implementing a ZK verifier, and they’ve implemented the garbled circuit required for BitVM3 in just one month. Build mode: on.

When Citrea started raising money to build a rollup on Bitcoin, they were widely dismissed by investors - and even  called “scammers” by folks who assumed the unknown team “wasn’t good enough” to build on BitVM. Within a year, the young team had made several critical

We’re really approaching a production-ready BitVM-based bridge. Private audits are wrapping up, the trusted setup ceremony is next, and mainnet is closer than you think.

To be clear, this attack only affects the RSA-based BitVM3 described in Liam’s post. The schemes we’re working on use the well-known cut-and-choose paradigm and are unaffected. With a simple zkSNARK, they can also be made efficient on Bitcoin. See: x.com/ekrembal_/stat…

fyki David Seroy 🏔️, Groth16 based GC is already practical today. And since it’s publicly verifiable (unlike DV-SNARK) you get some nice properties when building a bridge. Right now non-free gate count is ~2.7B, with cut-and-choose the one-time setup cost is ~400GB storage per
