The stakes in this election are high, especially for women like me. Since Roe was overturned in 2022, state courts now make critical decisions about access to healthcare.  I’m sharing my new ad, “Stakes,” because I want you to know I will always protect our freedoms. Pls. share!

Judges don’t write laws, but they do interpret how laws apply to both individual citizens and corporations. Integrity matters. Judicial races matter. Voting matters.

One of my clerks gave me this mug - when it’s filled with hot water, the Bill of Rights disappears. We’re in hot water right now in North Carolina, but VOTERS hold the key to restoring our rights.

I really do admire Lincoln, so when my wife got me this fun Lincoln magnet, she and my social media manager conspired to make something similar for me. 🤦🏻‍♂️

The NCGOP has been very plain in their intention to ban abortion. Their gubernatorial candidate has said it multiple times. The party has adopted it as part of their platform. Do you want judges who will cosign whatever their party wants or judges committed to justice?

Proud to have the endorsement of the News & Observer Editorial Board. I stand by what I told them, “I can’t help but think some of the decisions are partisan and have a partisan feel to them. It’s part of why I got into the race.”

For the past 2 years, I’ve woken up every day thinking about 401 votes—in 2020, the race for Chief Justice of the NC Supreme Court was decided by 401 votes out of 5.4 million votes. Each day, I think about how I can talk to 401 voters (or more) about the fight for our courts.

I had an incredible time canvassing this weekend and working alongside folks like Kate Compton Barr and Sen. Graig Meyer and so many others. Now would be a great time to pick up a canvassing shift in your area to help voters get to the polls and make their voices heard.

I am so thankful for the community that has supported me through the process of running for office. From the people who first talked me into this journey to everyone who donated and volunteered along the way. I am thankful for the voters who showed up. #onward
