Congratulations to Elise Needham who was been awarded a Fellowship from the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851! 🎉 She aims to determine genetic influences on cellular signalling by performing genome-wide association studies on protein post-translational modifications.

PGS Catalog has made important updates including (1) adjusting for continuous ancestry PC in PGS calculation and (2) scalable pipeline for computing many PGS. This will make applications such as trait-wide association of PGS or constructing PRSmix simpler.

Excited to share our new preprint describing updates to the PGS Catalog (PGSCatalog.org ) and the PGS Catalog Calulator (pgsc_calc), a new tool for reproducible PGS calculation in the context of genetic ancestry (github.com/PGScatalog/pgs…). Just in time for #ESHG24! /🧵
