Mr. Danial Shafaie, our ELIXIRION doctoral candidate from BSC, recently presented his work, supervised by Dr. Elli Kartsakli at the BSC Doctoral Symposium 2025, held from May 6 to 8. This event brings together early-stage researchers from across disciplines to share their work!

ELIXIRION doctoral candidate, Mr. Erfan Delfani, recently had the opportunity to present his research at WiOpt 2025 (May 26-29), held at Linköping University, under the expert guidance of his supervisor, Prof. Nikolaos Pappas, who also served as the conference’s General Chair.

Day 1-ELIXIRION Schools 3 & 4 at the BSC with a day full of insights on NTN and edge computing. We thank all speakers,Dr. Agapi Mesodiakaki (AUTH),Dr. Elli Kartsakli (BSC),Dr. Angelos Antonopoulos (NBC), Dr. Luis Blanco,Dr. Cristian Jesús Vaca-Rubio,and Dr. Engin Zeydan (CTTC).

Day 2 of ELIXIRION Schools 3 & 4 in Barcelona at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, where students explored non-terrestrial networks, AI, and nanonetworks.Thanks to Dr. Evgenii Vinogradov, Dr. Jordi Perez-Romero, Dra. Irene Vilà Muñoz, & Dr. Sergi Abadal for their talks!

Day 3 of ELIXIRION Schools at BSC, featured hands-on sessions on cloud-native technologies, orchestration, and distributed computation. Thanks to Alba Cañete Garrucho and Oriol Martínez Acon for leading the practical and impactful training.

Day 4 of ELIXIRION Schools in Barcelona explored satellite communications, 5G-GovSatCom, and next-gen space–air–ground networks at BSC. Thanks to Dr. Joan A. Ruiz-de-Azua, Dr. Pol Henarejos, and Mr. Reza Mosahebfard for their inspiring, expert-led sessions.
