I had a networking grant as an early career researcher. The networking it funded continued beyond the visit and fed directly into one of my first large grants as a PI. Go on - apply!!!

I was very sad to hear that Adam Stevens, from the Stevens of Boston Flower Stall, lost his brave fight with cancer over the weekend. Adam was possibly the last of the real market traders who used to shout out the final prices of the day whilst dragging his buckets of daffodils

Terrific article. I mostly only review jointly with an early career researcher in this mentoring way. I frequently recommend lab alumni as reviewers (similar reasons). Process is outlined in our lab handbook (osf.io/5brch). Will cite this article often.

There are still a few days time to nominate an early career researcher for their contributions to open science. ukrn.org/2023/12/11/dor…

Daniel Kahneman was a remarkable scientist and just generally kind person whose presence will be deeply missed by many (including me). His impact on my field (cognitive psych) and others (economics) will continue well into the future. Thank you Danny! washingtonpost.com/obituaries/202…

I am unable to travel to #CogSci2024. Already looks like folks are having a grand time. Thank you CogSci Society for reposting any posters and talks with the hashtag . I’m getting see some fab research from afar (though it is increasing my FOMO …)

(1/5) Very excited to announce the publication of Bayesian Models of Cognition: Reverse Engineering the Mind. More than a decade in the making, it's a big (600+ pages) beautiful book covering both the basics and recent work: mitpress.mit.edu/9780262049412/…
