Really appreciate all the post-docs at @MRL_Cam especially those in the Gribble/Reimann lab!! The PhD students would be lost without you! Jo Edward Lewis β€οΈ

This work wouldn't have been possible without Rachel Foreman's new mass spec method to measure motilin and other gut hormones, thank you for processing literally hundreds of secretion samples! π©βπ¬π§πΌβπ¬

End of my PhD coinciding with Inst Metabolic Science-Metabolic Research Labs's first ever green week led to a very cathertic clear out of old samples, and organoids frozen in a pre-lockdown panic! Glad to reduce energy waste #sustainability #freezerchallenge

Research retreat was a brilliant way to spend my last day at the Inst Metabolic Science-Metabolic Research Labs, winning the public engagement competition was the icing on top - thanks Steve Cross for all of your help!

Thank you for a very interesting and engaging talk from Emily Miedzybrodzka from the IGC, University of Edinburgh. #SBPRC2022 Institute of Genetics and Cancer Emily Miedzybrodzka

~ Save the date! ~ This year's conference will take place on September 8th in Glasgow at the Sir Charles Wilson Building University of Glasgow. Registration is free and details will follow during this month, stay tuned for more news!

Lots of fun hosting Science Insights pupils this week and showing them what a "real lab" is like - thank you Dee Davison (she/her) for the huge organisational effort!

Ready to start the keynote session with Emily Miedzybrodzka introducing our incredible speaker Prof Zosia Miedzybrodzka from University of Aberdeen who will tell us about her inspiring career path in genomics and patient care in northern Scotland. This session is kindly sponsored by The Genetics Society.
