We spent a lovely morning at Burntwood School earlier this month, leading a conducting workshop for the girls in their choir. It was amazing to see 8 girls try conducting for the very first time! 😍

Our session ended with a Q&A with Emma and Mia, which covered everything from what to do when you need to sneeze on the podium, to how to look confident even if you don’t feel it. 🙏 Thank you to Royal Academy of Music for supporting this workshop through Emma’s Meaker Fellowship.

Lovely to be back at the Royal Academy of Music to celebrate Paddy Russill's last day of 43 years of teaching. No understatement to say that he has transformed the UK choral conducting scene. A living legend!
