Today me and one of our Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds bears had a great time visiting Culford School. I had wonderful time working with their A-Level Drama upper six’s on their devised pieces for their upcoming exams. This was part of our current partner package across the Culford site.

Another day, another two school visits! This time it’s for Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds Tiny Plays, Big Ideas project which sees 400 young people aged 10 and 11 across Suffolk write their first play! A lot of exciting plays being written this week and I can’t wait to see the final pieces✍🏻

Our youth advisory board is going from strength to strength. 7th meeting of the academic year tonight - all really engaged and participated thoroughly with the session. I am really honoured to lead this group of young people and excited to see where the rest of the year goes!

Today was our Tiny Plays, Big Ideas showcase! After 2 weeks of workshops, 450 children sent in their plays to be read by the team Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds Today we had the honour of watching 15 of them be performed by professional actors. They were fun, wacky and joyous. A perfect day!

THE COUNTDOWN IS ON! We have two weeks until Bloom Festival is launched Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds 🌸🌺 Costumes are beginning to come into the dressing rooms with fittings starting tomorrow! 74 young people aged 8-16 will perform across a week of shows, with a creative team of 22!
