🧵 The Labour Party said that our social security system must work to tackle the soaring need for food banks. And we agree. 🔍 Yet, they haven't said how they're going to do this. We're at Labour Party Conference with Amy Hart to call on Labour to make a plan.

🚨 1.5 MILLION emergency food parcels were provided by food banks in our network between April and September. This is the highest number of parcels our network has ever distributed in 6 months. And this is likely to get worse – unless the government steps up to make change. ⤵️
