Absolutely, we should be talking about dying, we should know our loved ones wishes and thoughts so we can be more prepared when the time comes and we can have a ‘good death’ if we are open and honest with each other 👍🏻x

Absolutely!!! No one can understand the impact it had on us NHS staff, the horrors we faced, the 42 yr old patient I nursed for 14 weeks in isolation without family members able to visit who died, so 14 weeks precious time that should’ve been spent with their loved ones 😢

What an amazing achievement all of you! We couldn’t do the jobs we do without your guidance and support for our patients and most importantly our colleagues 🥰❤️ Well Done Team xxx

In oncology, working out how much of your diagnosis to reveal to those you love, & in what timeframe, can be immensely challenging, especially when there are children involved. Kate was denied her right to manage this on her own terms by ghoulish media speculation. For shame.

I cannot put into words how let down I feel by my regulator due to my experience over 6 years 😢 Despite being diagnosed with PTSD because of my experience I have had the most amazing support from my family, friends and the trust 🥰I might not have still been here 😢xx

Big changes NEED to happen in our professional body so that patients are protected and genuine nurses are not hounded with years of unfounded investigations which result in loss of lives 😢 I could’ve been one of those statistics without the love and support I received!! X

😢😢condolences to those families involved and questions need answering. The NMC are there to protect the public but their process for investigations against nurses is horrific, take it from someone who knows 👎🏻

6 damming years of a roller coaster ride, 4/5 referrals from the same perpetrator and a FtP hearing, no wonder it broke me 😢

Emma Wells-burr (@emmawellsburr) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Absolutely! As a registrant that went through a FtP this year the treatment of myself and 2 colleagues have been horrific 😢I will add that thankfully we were found as no facts proven 👏🏻👍🏻6 years of hounding, multiple ref from one perpetrator 😢x

Emma Wells-burr (@emmawellsburr) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Or the safety of their registrants being taken to FTP hearings by one repeat perpetrator, outcome, facts not proven 🙏🏻 and the mental torture you are left with 😢

Emma Wells-burr (@emmawellsburr) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Absolutely disgusting!! No one will EVER know what it is like to go through a FtP hearing unless you have been there!! It is soul destroying, losing all confidence all because the NMC didn’t quash the relentless harassment by one perpetrator 👎🏻 NO CASE TO ANSWER 🎉thank god x

The NMC has not shown a willingness to address vexatious or retaliative referrals, as evidenced by the case of Hindle v NMC. There is concern about the lack of learning and action on this issue.
