March is Endometriosis Awareness Month and with research from Endometriosis UK showing that 62% of women would put off going to the doctor if they were having symptoms of endometriosis, it’s essential that we continue to raise awareness and understanding of this condition. (1/2)

Emma Cox, CEO of Endometriosis UK discusses that 80% of 16-24 would put off going to the GP about #endometriosis. That’s why raising awareness around this topic is so important to ensure symptoms aren’t minimised.

The main focus of awareness month is to break down that stigma. Workplaces as well as the government need to recognise that 10% of their female (or those assigned female at birth) will have #endometriosis

#Endometriosis can have just as much of an impact on mental health as it does on physical health. To mark #EndometriosisAwarenessMonth, today I asked for a debate on this subject. APPG on Endometriosis Endometriosis UK

1 in10 women live with endometriosis- a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows elsewhere inside the body. It can be incredibly painful & take years to diagnose. Treatment hasn't improved in 10yrs. Until now? #EndometriosisAwarenessMonth Endometriosis UK
