Lovely sunset over the bay in San Diego for #ASH2024 A bit hazy, like my jet-lagged brain, but I'm sure tomorrow will be another beautiful day.

In addition to all the new science, one of the best things at the ASH annual meeting is catching up with friends. Hallway selfie with @zoemcquilten and #ASH24 scientific program co-chair Sant-Rayn Pasricha in San Diego. Well done Santa and team - great meeting!

Finishing up at #ASH24 with an overloaded brain and lots of happy memories. The experience wouldn't be complete without this obligatory photo (with thanks to Zoe McQuilten ). Thanks ASH and safe trips home, everyone!

A study has found a single iron infusion can significantly reduce anaemia in pregnancy, compared to iron tablets – the currently recommended treatment. The milestone findings, co-led by Sant-Rayn Pasricha and Kamija Phiri are published in Nature Medicine wehi.edu.au/news/healthier…
