Grateful for the leadership of Brandon Foreman leading us through this Delphi process. These “Practice Standards for the Use of Multimodality Neuromonitoring” now out in Critical Care Medicine enable advocacy for personnel, technology, reporting, education, & analytics journals.lww.com/ccmjournal/abs…

So proud of my two mentees (one a resident Shravan Sivakumar at @umassneurology, the other my former research assistant) 🧠for getting their paper published today:➡️"Shared Decision‑Making and Family Meetings in Neurocritical Care". Focused on interventions‼️ rdcu.be/dlZDn

Honored to contribute to this ambitious and important undertaking under the stellar leadership of Drs. Park and Beqiri. Will be a lasting resource for Neurocritical Care Society informatics and @curingcoma. Already being adopted for data standards in the A Patient-Focused CHoRUS for Equitable AI critical care physiome.

Kate Reilly-Kit, M.D. Dan Harrison, MD @NezerSara I read this study differently. I’d rather have someone on continuous sodium infusions than need to use barbiturates or therapeutic hypothermia, with outcomes being equal.

Huge congratulations to MGH Center for Neurotechnology and Neurorecovery MGH Neurocritical Care A Patient-Focused CHoRUS for Equitable AI MGH Neurology superstar Morteza Zabihi for leading our 1st Place Submission to the George B. Moody PhysioNet Challenge 2023: Predicting Neurological Recovery from Coma After Cardiac Arrest. One more step to Curing Coma

We are grateful to the dedicated and talented team of administrators whose hard work makes it possible for the MGH Neurocritical Care to care for our patients and their families. Happy Administrative Professionals Day! MGH Neurology

We know IV push Keppra is safe, but status-sized loading doses remain unexplored vs piggyback I'm excited to share former PGY2 EM Madison Koons's work on IVP LEV loads (vs IVPB): - Faster time to admin - No incr in ADEs - Potential ⬇️ICU admits in SE! doi.org/10.1111/epi.18…

In a new study, researchers from MGH Neurology and colleagues revealed the importance of #BP control during intensive care for patients with neurologic injuries.
