Peru now advances to a NYSPHSAA Class A Regional Final against Maine-Endwell, whose softball team also plays Peru, Saturday. Time for both games is to be determined.

Next stop Cortland! The Beekmantown CSD Flag Football team boarded the bus, with its sights set on the NYSPHSAA Class C Flag Football Championship. The Eagles first face Owego Free Academy, Saturday at 9:50 a.m. The winner advances to the championship, Sunday at 1:15 p.m.

Peru's Madi Marino caught a bunt and threw out the runner to end the top of the 2nd. But that was after Maine-Endwell added 2 more runs. 4-0, with Peru coming up.

Tuckahoe has had a batter reach second base. But, Ti's defense stepped up each time. Going into the bottom of the 3rd still scoreless
