To me personally this makes sense. Yeah I get it, every offseason/deadline Metstwitter wants every top free agent signed at any cost and dont care if in a few years half or more of the active roster is mid 30s and dropping in production with a 400 mil payroll.

To which i believe these two have worked together before hence the move. I've reported on another coach in Mets system who absolutely praises and supports all things Jeff Albert while working under him. Time to build not only the players roster but coaching staff chemistry too.

Like ALL organizations in mlb the Mets front adopts their own particular philosophies & you need your staff on the same page not only in majors but throughout farm system. My reporting on the Mets franchise changes started in 2024 when Stearns took over. Believe in the process.
