just signed my tenure-track contract („qualifizierungsvereinbarung“, in beautiful german), then had to sit down because it was a bit overwhelming. thank you to all who helped me get here, and hoping that you will continue to stick around with me… onwards and upwards, i guess ☀️

my mentor suggested adding short summaries in between the different paragraphs of my grant proposal and i think it is a phantastic idea, but now i really have to hold myself back to not title them “tl;dr” (because that is what they are). 🥸

one of the more difficult parts of the grant proposal 🫠 (at least for people like me who had - on average - 3-4 different contracts per year, each with different % of a full-time position)
