LUNCH CELEBRATION During the last week of April Food and Child Nutrition Services (FCNS) will have multiple activities to encourage students and parents to recognize food service staff by voting for their school cafeteria superheroes. Please see the following activities: (1)

April 27-30: Lunch Hero Contest Students will be encouraged to vote for their school lunch staff through an online survey that can be accessed via the following link:dallasisd.org/lunchhero School cafeteria staff with the most votes will receive a digital award. (2)

April 30th: Lunch Hero Gratitude Parade Students are invited to participate in the “Lunch Hero Gratitude Parade” to be celebrated at each open site while food is being distributed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (3)

Students can create banners using encouraging messages to food service staff. Decorate cars to show support to all school lunch superheroes, medical staff, grocery store staff, and any other superheroes out there. (4)
