Does anyone in the #bioacoustics community know when XBAT officially stopped being supported? Was there a (citable) statement?

How can echolocating toothed whales make 500 clicks/second with air at 1000 m depth where air volume is compressed to <1%? With the same nasal sound source how do they produce powerful high frequency clicks for echolocation & softer, low frequency calls for communication?

Read more about the ambitious, and opportunistic, project between us, FOI & Naturhist.riksmuseet where we studied how the overnight location change of a major shipping lane in the Kattegat effected underwater #noise and #harbourporpoise behavior.

Hey Twitter. I'm compiling a list of #mustread #danish 🇩🇰 authors. Bonus points if they write speculative fiction. Got any recommendations? #danishauthors #danskforfatter #danskliteratur #danishliterature
