Whilst this is an interesting consultation - what we actually need is the legal right to a #CareSupporter - sure look at visiting but everyone should have the right to have that person who knows them best, with them, in any health or care setting, at any time - we need

Don't want to be discourteous but professionals in mental health settings, for instance haven't even heard of reg 9a as applying to them! And how many hospitals feel bound by it? The legal right to a care supporter (Gloria's Law) would stay with the person whatever the setting

Rights For Residents Stephen Kinnock I regularly count my blessings that my father who died last year didn't have to go into any sort of care/residential home.
