Some days my heart shatters from the stories my patients tell me about the impact cancer has on their life.Trauma, fatigue, isolation, body distrust +++ But then they start to move, exercise & rebuild. Magic happens. WOW- After 13yrs I am still blown away by the power of exercise

Great to see the feasibility & efficacy of exercise training tested in an understudied cancer population (esophagogastric cancer)! But is it necessary to prescribe such a low initial aerobic exercise intensity (30-45% HRR)? #exerciseoncology x.com/GeorgeMetsios/…

One of the most common questions I'm asked by patients, HCPs & GPs is "should I wait until treatment is finished to start exercising". Research now shows that beginning exercise as EARLY as possible may lead to greater benefits. This study looks at the impact of prehab exercises.

Shelley Heaney Ex-Med Cancer BCNA ONJCancerCentre Couldn’t agree more. Having just finished the program I cannot overstate the benefits. My body feels like my own for the first time in over 12 months. This program should be part of routine cancer care.
