This formalizes what many in our community are already doing. It is difficult, especially for Nashville’s businesses, but it’s necessary to slow the spread of the virus. We’re in this together. The faster we contain #COVID19, the faster we can return to business.

We have created a roadmap to reopen Nashville in the coming weeks with precaution, social distancing, and the health and safety of our community top of mind. The Roadmap for Reopening Nashville includes four phases that will allow us to safely reopen the city.

Police have identified the shooting victims as Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs and William Kinney (all age 9), Cynthia Peak (age 61), Katherine Koonce (age 60) and Mike Hill (age 61). Koonce was the head of the Covenant School.
