La alcaldesa de Paiporta dice lo que hemos visto todas, que habia grupos organizados de tios que no eran de las zonas afectadas. Y dice que estaban esperando a la comitiva.

Elon Musk paid Black people to campaign for Trump in Michigan and then fired them and left them stranded in the streets when they complained about unsafe working conditions for being shipped around in the back of a U-Haul without seats or seatbelts. rollingstone.com/politics/polit…

Anyone who watched the hearing of #Ribera tonight saw a well-prepared, competent, composed & professional politician. And a radical & unreasonable EPP Group that openly flirts with far-right parties. Worrying. What price must Europe pay for Manfred Weber’s hunger for power?

What the EPP Group is doing is not what I would expect from the EU’s largest pro-EU, pro-democracy party. It is disrespectful to families of 200 victims & all Valencians. Slam the Spanish gov but don’t lie PLEASE. The legal responsibility for the SMS was under PP Carlos Mazón

The Office of Government Efficiency is off to a great start with split leadership: two people to do the work of one person. Yeah, this seems REALLY efficient.

Exxon's concern about Trump leaving the Paris agreement is hilarious, considering they have actively helped elect him. Also means he might not do it.

New paper: LLMs are increasingly used to label data in political science. But how reliable are these annotations, and what are the consequences for scientific findings? What are best practices? Some new findings from a large empirical evaluation. Paper: eddieyang.net/research/llm_a…

Studying social sciences & humanities makes students more left-leaning, controlling for initial views & major preference, driven by cultural views. Implies that if all students majored in business, college–noncollege ideological gap would shrink by 1/3 papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cf…

Key vote in the EU tomorrow. I wish I could be more optimistic but the EPP is bringing us back a decade and creating a dangerous precedent.

They are bowing Trump's pressure, moving to the position of the far right, opening European markets to less sustainable players (yes, sustainability regulation is also a barrier to entry), and giving our least competitive companies less reasons to improve....and proud of it! 😭
