#GHRCSymposium2025 Brilliant interactive session with all 5 NIHR Global Health Research Centres! Each shared their top 2 innovations, followed by cross-learning where centres identified 2 innovations from others they’ll adopt. A great example of collaboration driving impact.

#Day3 In our latest session, led by Dr Mansi Chopra from HRIDAY the Centres shared challenges and innovations in embedding Community Engagement and Involvement (CEI) into research—not just as a methodology, but as a philosophy.

#CommunityChampions, local modes of storytelling, microdocumentaries & community advisory panels to ensure equitable involvement of people. By co-creating knowledge, engaging vulnerable populations, and influencing local action, we can make research truly community-driven.

As part of the extended group activity, the participants were into working groups to conduct focused discussions on: ▪️ Monitoring, evaluation, & learning frameworks ▪️ Training & #knowledgesharingstrategies ▪️Grassroot-level innovations-Best practices & challenges

In an interesting panel on sustainability, the members discussed how Centres can sustain its impact. It was discussed that building a sustainable future means fostering local leadership, long-term engagement, and community-driven solutions.
