Last week was a turning point in my career thanks to the amazing #CASFutureLeaders program educating 29 researchers about scientific leadership! A big thanks to Peter Carlton, Mindy Pozenel, Brent Ries & CAS for this once in a life time experience.
Congrats to #queensu researcher Farnaz Heidar-Zadeh on receiving the prestigious Ontario's Universities Polanyi Prize in Chemistry! Her research combines quantum chemistry & #MachineLearning to make molecular design easier, faster & more affordable | #QueensuResearch | ➡️queensu.ca/gazette/storie…
A huge honor to receive the #PolanyiPrize. I’d like to thank the selection committee, ON Colleges, Universities, Research & Security, Queen's University, Queen's Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs & my nominators. Following Prof. Polanyi’s lead, I hope our research brings fundamental insight into the chemical world & benefits Canadian society.
Thanks a million, NSERC / CRSNG for the continuous support of our research.
I am honoured and excited to be selected as part of this year’s #CottrellScholar cohort! Thanks Research Corporation for Science Advancement for supporting my scientific and educational endeavours.
I am thrilled! Thanks Research Corporation for Science Advancement for your faith in my research on conceptual quantum chemistry + machine learning and my efforts to incorporate computer programming into our chemistry curriculum. Thanks, Queenschem Kingston Queen's University Research@Queen's University Queen's University VP Research Portfolio for your support.
Congratulations to Maximilian van Zyl for receiving an NSERC / CRSNG CGS-M scholarship. Very well deserved! Thanks Queen's Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs and NSERC / CRSNG for supporting our research.
Inspiring & thought-provoking lecture by Olexandr Isayev 🇺🇦🇺🇸 delivering the 2024 Harrison-MacRae lectureship Queenschem Kingston on accelerating molecular design with #MachineLearning & #AI. Thanks for the stimulating discussions and sharing your vision!
Long overdue, but HORTON's release paper found a perfect home in the The Journal of Chemical Physics's special collection on "Modular and Interoperable Software for Chemical Physics." Read our decade-long tale in pubs.aip.org/aip/jcp/articl…
