Ok, bear with me for a slightly wonky thread here. I'm going to explain how you end up with the Speaker of the House just fully lying about something as simple and basic as the deficit. To start with, there is zero question that their bill increases the deficit. It 100% does.

Taco Bell does have something very close to this, it's called the Doritos Locos Taco. It comes with beef by default but you can substitute chicken.

Elon Musk's best-case legacy is to be remembered like Henry Ford — a shrewd salesman whose later years were derailed by poisonous politics. His worst case is to be remembered as a con man who built a hype empire off other people's work and whose own ideas were all vaporware.

What a shameless liar Peter Navarro is!! There were two lawsuits. One, the lead one, was brought by small businesses that have been ruined by Trump's tariffs, represented and funded by right wing lawyers.

I really want to like Zohran's housing policies. There is some really great stuff in there like comprehensive zoning reform, TOD, and abolishing parking minimums. BUT, for literally every item, there are stipulations. Be it labor requirements, community input, etc.

This video could not come with better timing for national discourse: This is exactly how Progressives tell an Abundance supply-side story in populist framing "Low supply vacancy is the root of landlord market power" is populist, has an abundance solution, & is factually true!

It’s funny when anti-abundance folks talk about how we don’t need market rate housing, we just need public housing when you can’t even build buildings like this per most zoning laws across the country.

here’s a mind-blowing statistic: more people work for the MTA (~70K employees) than are coal miners in the entire country (~42K)

A city with Austin's housing policy and New York City's transportation policy would instantly become the most desirable city to live in the United States.
