We are continuing our fight to stop Glasgow City Council's planned cuts. We are overwhelmed by the support so far but we've got a long way to go. You can help by signing and sharing our petition. Our young people need their voices to be heard: mcrpathways.org/save-mcr-glasg…

This emotive and eloquent essay stopped me in my tracks, the importance of this type of work is so stark, particularly at this moment, ‘the direct descendant of collective silence is collective forgetting’. A must listen

A lot of talk about today. It’s only as monumental as we make it. The work starts today. Show me rights made real. Then I’ll tell you the significance of the bill. #rightsmadereal

A timely reminder:”Children who are in conflict with the law, particularly children who may be committing more serious and/or violent offences, are themselves vulnerable, with complex needs and experience of social adversity”. ⬇️ to find out more on the support these children need

📣 One week to go📣 This time next week we will be in our first plenary! It's an 8.45 start on Wednesday, but with a headline act worth arriving early for: Vanessa Barker and Maximo Sozzo. See attached for a full list of fab plenaries.

I am getting really nervous for the Euros final. By far the biggest game Spain have had since I started supporting them 4 days ago 🇪🇸

Coming to terms with this tragic news. children don’t have time for us to get our acts together, play politics or pat e/o on the back. reminder of how our professional future optimism so distant from ch&yps daily realities, what they experience. Action now. Jonathan Beadle 💔

Here are 2 pieces I wrote when I broke the story of William Lindsay's suicide in Polmont in 2018. They expose failings in the prison & the care system. I hope the findings of the FAI into his death & Katie Allan's, released tomorrow, are utterly damning. scotsman.com/news/politics/…

You cannot ‘improve’ a system so embroiled with human suffering. You cannot work in partnership with organisations who cannot be held accountable. Apologies are empty without action. Katie Allan. William Lindsey. Jonathan Beadle ❤️

1. Today has been the first time I have felt ready to go through the FAI determination in close detail. Sheriff Collins has written an exemplary determination and we sincerly thank him.
