So true. As a palliative care doctor I now find myself routinely having to have end-of-life conversations with elderly patients on trolleys in corridors. It’s unimaginably undignified & wrong, And it didn’t used to be like this. 14 years of Tory policies have savaged the NHS.

I loved being Elizabeth House community party last night. Well over 100 people gathered for food, conversation and music. I can't praise the staff and volunteers enough for the amazing work they do to ensure we have a community where everyone is welcomed, valued and cared about.

I wouldn't go to the opening of an envelope, but the official opening of the new lift at Hind House was cause for celebration. Combined with bouncy castles, snacks and Jerk Chicken. I love that we have so many events to meet with neighbours celebrate the Islington community

Today is the 60th anniversary of Harold Wilson becoming Prime Minister for the first time and the day I was born. What a great day for us both!
