Held very helpful Davos meeting this morning with Director-General of #WTO to discuss progress of multilateral negotiations on elimination of harmful fisheries subsidies. Gave assurance of Friends of Ocean Action's willingness to assist successful outcomes in Geneva for SDG14.6.

It is critical for the ocean's health that #WTO Parties successfully conclude SDG14.6's remit of eliminating harmful fisheries subsidies. To Chair Einar Gunnarsson & negotiating Parties, the message from the ocean community is we believe you can bring it home by MC13 next month.
