We're back on Loughrigg again today, repairing the footpath from the Terrace up to the summit...

Last weekend our annual mass volunteering event took place on the Band, Langdales. A HUGE thank you to our Volunteers, LDNPA Young Rangers, the National Trust for Scotland and volunteers from Amey who joined our Rangers for three days of amazing fell fixing.

Just nipped up Stone Arthur to check on some of last year's path repairs. Path is settling in pretty well. Before, during & after photos of a section of the path (roughly 18 months between first and last photo)...

Our Central & Eastern Fix the Fells Rangers were on Gowbarrow today grading the sides of a path affected by erosion.

Our West Team Fix the Fells Rangers and Volunteers were out at Loft Beck yesterday carrying essential path maintenance on our upland paths. Path maintenance is an essential part of the work of Fix the Fells.

The end of September saw our amazing Volunteers hold their annual "Sock Day" in Buttermere. After carrying out essential maintenance work on 12 paths they enjoyed well earned tea and cake hosted at Croft House Farm Cafe.

Last weekend, our Rangers and Volunteers worked hard on the path to Lingcove Bridge in Eskdale! 💪 Over three days, they installed drains to keep water off the path and tackled erosion with landscaping to encourage revegetation. Great job, team! 🌿👏
