Our review on #Drosophila #muscle #stem cells is just published Cells MDPI 👍👌💪, Catch up with the recent findings reported with this wonderful model 🪰🪰🪰

It’s great to see this out in the wild! A weird observation made 4 years ago turned into finding gastrulation influences levels of Notch dependent transcription, acting downstream of pathway activation and likely involving changes in the nucleus 🪰🎢

Earlier this month some of my PhD research with Bray Lab was published in Development . Here we were researching how cells communicate with each other. Specifically, we looked at how cells use the Notch signalling pathway.

On #TechnicalTuesday we’re highlighting the OptIC-Notch tool from Jonty Townson Bray Lab based on the BLITz approach. The authors used this optogenetic methid to temporally interrogate the interaction between NICD and CSL. 📖Development: journals.biologists.com/dev/article/15…

Haven't been on the platform much recently, but getting to spend 6 months in the Bray Lab, learning about the exciting science and interacting with the amazing folks in the lab like Javier de Haro Arbona is worthy of posting! Check out some of what they have been up to.

I'm proud to share our new pre-print! In the Bray Lab we've used Single Molecule tracking to study the dynamics of transcription factor CSL in #drosophila salivary glands. We show increased local exploration near targets in response to #Notch signaling! doi.org/10.1101/2023.0…

Delighted that this cool story about the role of transcriptional hubs in Notch signaling, led by Javier de Haro Arbona is now final VoR #elife. Thanks too to @drosoigmm for the accompanying insight.
