On Friday, May 5th, members of the Northwestern community gathered to watch the hand-crafted wiigwaasi-jiimaan (birch bark canoe) take a trip into Lake Michigan. The canoe has been given a permanent home in the Segal Visitors Center lobby – be sure to take a visit soon!
