👏👏👏👏👏👏 “I’m progressive because I have deep sympathy for the marginalized, poor, and working-classes This does not change if that person happens to ‘vote the wrong way’ Or if they don't share my political views The stories coming out of Texas are heartbreaking”

Today we remember the 52 who lost their lives, the loved ones they left behind and all those injured and affected by the horrific 7/7 attacks. We remember too the bravery of fellow passengers & emergency services, the determination of our country to stand together against hate.

At the big Tesco last week I noticed cans of minced beef with onions, something I haven’t had for year (apart from in a pie) So… With Colcannon and Peas A quick easy meal 😁

I sat with the bereaved families during the Service. The people near me were largely silent: not singing, not joining the prayers, not even speaking to each other - just quietly weeping. This turned into audible sobs when 52,000 petals floated down on us from the dome above.
