Alla fine Eliana Liotta mi ha convinto! Eccolo qui, il mio libro sul cervello. Bellissima recensione di Telmo Pievani sul Corriere della Sera di oggi

📢 Very happy to share our paper just published in Science Magazine in collaboration with Dimitri Kullmann and led by the fabulous Yichen Q! Happy to share our new review with Davide Pozzi Matteo Fossati elisabetta menna How the immune system shapes #synapse formation and function in #neurodevelopment

My lab is hiring! We have an open postdoc position to work on an exciting project to study novel genetic factors associated to neurodevelopmental epilepsies. Great collaboration with Michela Matteoli Davide Pozzi. Please RT! Humanitas Milano CNR Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche @Telethonitalia

In 2019, with Matteo Fossati, we discovered that the glutamate receptor delta-1 (GluD1) regulates the formation of inhibitory synapses in an agonist-dependent manner. This was unexpected for an iGluR and we did not know how the receptor was activated at inhibitory synapses.

Extremely happy and honored to be awarded a 2024 grant from Angelman Syndrome Alliance! Looking forward to starting this collaborative project with @MLeonzino on AS pathogenesis #angelmansyndrome Angelman Syndrome Alliance

Also delighted to share our review on the molecular mechanisms of the specialization of human synapses in the neocortex sciencedirect.com/science/articl…. Great issue with Alex Pollen Alex Pollen and Jason Stein@jsteinlab as guest editors
