Here’s the fundamental geopolitical question or bet: Do you believe China has the ability to maintain geoeconomic stability against America’s geopolitical instability? If the answer is Yes, you’re pro-China. If the answer is No, you’re pro-America.

With my new POV, China winning doesn’t seem nearly as certain. They now face a strategic bind: Continue focusing inwardly on domestic development, or be occupied preserving the institutions of the rules-based international order that have facilitated their rise? Can’t do both.

My only critique of MAGA Communism is that they miss opportunities to court the Left. In the same way they seek to guide the Right to their way of thinking, they can do that with the Left too, instead of engaging in culture war. My two cents. Their politics are interesting.
