big day today! Willie Freimuth & I depart for a joint expedition to the east Gobi Basin to bridge our mid-K work in the western US to Asia. 1 month + amazing team @naturalsciences NC State BioSci @ChinzorigMpc Ryan Tucker 福島県立博物館【公式】 & Okayama Univ = endless possibilities

How do you know what an animal eats if it doesn't have any teeth? Find out how a turtle's skull reveals its diet! New research by Brenlee Shipps , Brandon Peecook & Kenneth D. Angielczyk: doi.org/10.1002/ar.251…

On this #FossilFriday, Dr. Josh Hedge (He/Him) seems pretty excited (deleteriously so?) about the cast of “Baby Louie,” a perinatal caenagnathid #dinosaur that just arrived on loan to Lindsay Zanno lab @naturalsciences from The Children's Museum. Original 📸: Qinglongshan National Geopark, 2019

Happy #FossilFriday from #Mongolia! Here’s the business end of the exquisite troodontid Gobivenator (found by Chinzorig 😉). One of the many crazy-cool specimens at #IPMAS, who are graciously hosting me & Dr. Josh Hedge (He/Him) before some Lindsay Zanno-led #Gobi fieldwork

Happy #FossilFriday, a ready to heading to the #Gobi fieldwork in #Mongolia to clean out some leftover from last year fieldwork joint Lindsay Zanno NC Museum of Natural Sciences & @IPMAS with Willie Freimuth Dr. Josh Hedge (He/Him) Ryan Tucker & explore more discoveries. See u back from #Gobi

Bittersweet to leave the #Gobi of #Mongolia—where new #dinosaurs, landscapes, and friendships abound—and return to the “real world”. Very grateful to Lindsay Zanno Chinzorig Ryan Tucker and all those involved in the #MADEx23 expedition for a fulfilling 1.5 months ☺️

Meet Adam Adam Moore, one of our #TravelWithTilly recipients! Adam is a vertebrate paleontologist who studies how the climate of the Cretaceous impacted dinosaurs. Read more here: wp.me/p8kpy9-6QV

Congrats Adam Moore! Very proud of you. One of those talented students #Palaeotwitter should definitely keep an eye on!🦖

Adam Adam Moore took a project I (& Lindsay Zanno) gave him and ran with it all the way to his first SVP #2023SVP (via generous funding from #TravelWithTilly travel grant Time Scavengers)! A budding scientist NC State MEAS & a good dude, excited to see what his future holds 😎
