Tasha is developing #antimicrobial polymers with Team Perrier, and working in my lab to test their efficacy against #biofilm and synergy with #antibiotics

So happy to have won first prize in the poster presentation!! I also delivered my first ever in person talk as a PhD student today :) I’m really grateful to National PhD Training Programme in AMR for this opportunity 🧫🦠

Come and meet an early medieval doctor Lakeside Arts tomorrow afternoon - I’ll be there 1-3pm with a selection of plants and other materials to cure all your ailments and advise on balancing your humours. lakesidearts.org.uk/children-and-f…

My medieval medicine display from this weekend Lakeside Arts. Having a round table made handling by the attendees so much easier - and the smaller ones LOVED having a go with a mortar and pestle. #HistMed #AncientBiotics

Great hands on training in Warick University with Freya Harrison using the ex vivo pig lung model. I look forward to applying it to my own work We are now Research Ireland Maynooth Biology #loveirishresearch

A fantastic two days training colleagues old and new from 8 UK/Irish universities, UK Health Security Agency and a CRO to set up our ex vivo model of biofilm infection in cystic fibrosis lungs, and discussing collaborative projects and proposals.

A lovely paper from @MatildeConcilio Ramon Garcia-Maset and colleagues, developing a set of polymers that attack the membrane and DNA of S. aureus. Delighted to have contributed a little to this work. #Microbiology #Antibiotics
