The Town Council has supported friendsofwyldegreents through its community grant scheme to deliver a project that raises awareness of the importance of bees in our eco system 🐝 As part of that, volunteers are delivering educational talks to local groups and residents 🤝

🌞🌳 What a fantastic morning we had today at our social event, blessed with perfect weather! Huge thanks to friendsofwyldegreents for hosting us in Sutton Coldfield! We started at the Boulevard Allotment Hub, catching up with parks & open spaces volunteers over delicious refreshments.
Great that Friends of the Shakespeare Line are welcoming John Austin FGRA to #StratforduponAvon railway station over the late Spring Bank Holiday weekend (May 25 - 27) with an exhibition of his fabulous railway paintings. John will be on hand throughout & prints & commissions will be available.

Celebrate our History! Recently friendsofwyldegreents & Chester Road Station Friends spend the morning at Sutton Coldfield Station completing a Heritage Awareness Morning. It was a huge success with wonderful displays, and some great discussions about the history of the local stations.
Following a school Eco Council poll we’re proud to announce that New Oscott have named our new bug hotel “Bugingham palace” we think it’s very apt for such a regal dwelling for our Wylde Green bugs 🐞🐛🦟🪲🪳🐜🕷️
