Y3 had a very exciting week, we had a great PE lesson with Dom ⚽️and loved investigating friction. 🧑‍🔬We are very excited to continue practicing for our Christmas Nativity, we cannot wait for you to see it! 🎄

In Science, Year 4 have been using different electrical components to create circuits. We have understood what components are needed to make a full circuit. 💡🔋

Year 4 absolutely loved making their own buzzer games in Science today! They were exploring switches, and considering why they are important.

We have had a very busy week in Year 5. In PE we have been practising our dribbling skills when under pressure, and we have been creating symmetrical balances focusing on body tension. In science this week, we investigated the thermal conductivity of different materials.

Year 6 had an inspiring visit from Farnborough 6th exploring how light travels and reflects. The children had to find the buried treasure and show the path of light💡

Year 5 and 6 had a great start to their swimming lessons today! They all did brilliantly 🏊

Guinness World Record holder Lloyd certainly inspired us all today after coming into Frimley to talk about being the youngest person with Down Syndrome to run a marathon, how he has raised over £18,500 for his chosen charities and how he wants others to follow their dreams.

We are so incredibly proud of our Year 3 children. Their performance of 'I'm Gonna Shine' was wonderful and their singing was divine.

Mrs Wright and these avid readers enjoyed hot chocolate and biscuits in the library today and talked all about their favourite books. 📚

Year 3 have loved designing their dragon eyes and experimenting with different colours and tone 🎨🖌️.

Year 6 have been practicing their toning and shading in art to create beautiful sketches of birds. They have also been improving their coding skills in computing using new programming languages.

These stars were nominated by their teachers for being amazing role models the whole of this term and they enjoyed a cake and a drink with Mrs Wright in the LRC 🌟

Year 3 have had a busy last week at school. Yesterday, they enjoyed a Christmas craft morning and today they have been finishing their dragon eye artwork.

Year 3 have had a busy week learning how to play basketball, using resources to problem-solve in maths, investigating the physical properties of rocks and discovering more about Islam.

Year 3 have been taking it in turns to be the teacher / pupil during maths. Their task was to teach each other how to multiply 2 digits by 1 digit and they smashed it.

Year 6 have been learning about natural selection. They have participated in an experiment to model how Darwin discovered different finches’ beaks have adapted to eat certain food types.
